Welcome to our monthly recap for the Gnosis Chain validators. Through this recap, we aim to keep our validator community updated on a monthly basis regarding the latest developments and updates on the Gnosis Chain.
The First Beta Release of Shutterized Gnosis Chain is Now Live!
The Shutter protocol is LIVE on Gnosis Chain mainnet, featuring an encrypted mempool powered by the Shutter Network.
Gnosis Chain has always been committed to base-layer neutrality principles, and integrating Shutter Network’s encryption technology strengthens this commitment. Encryption enhances the credibility of the blockchain by ensuring data and transaction integrity.
In the beginning, validators will have the option to participate as the Nethermind client is still in the early beta phase and is under active development. This version is not recommended for use by most validators at this point, but interested validators should choose to participate at a later stage. Additionally, in the future, the plan is for the integration to transition towards a protocol-level change where there will no longer be an opt-in option.

For stabilized performance, you can now upgrade to Nethermind v1.27.1 or nethermindeth/nethermind:release-1.27.1-exp.1 for Shutter.
