What is the impact of EIP-4444?
The Nethermind team is making significant progress on implementing EIP-4444 (Bound Historical Data in Execution Clients). Due to Gnosis Chain's architecture, which is similar to Ethereum's, this implementation will significantly impact the network.
Expected Timeline: 2-4 months for implementation
Key Feature: Historical data pruning for data older than one year

Reth on Gnosis Chain
The team is advancing Reth integration for Gnosis Chain by utilizing the NodeBuilder API for faster node iteration and high-performance code implementation, while currently focusing on enabling post-merge state import compatibility with Geth and other clients.

Geth on Gnosis Chain
Geth implementation has reached a significant milestone with its first successful block build, while the full sync process continues as expected over the next 2-3 weeks in the pre-merge phase with all systems operating normally.

While the beta version of Shielded Trading has been live on Gnosis Chain since July, the integration faced some early challenges that ultimately helped strengthen the system. Recent updates have now made the integration even more robust, improving the overall user experience and transparency of its operations.
Increased Stability: Shielded Trading on Gnosis Chain is now more stable than ever. Users now enjoy smooth, secure transactions with Shutter’s encryption fully operational.
For transactions that might still get stuck (e.g., in specific re-org scenarios or due to validator-related issues), Shutter team developed an inclusion service that automatically resends these transactions.
Shutter Explorer for Shielded Trading on Gnosis Chain: Past week launch of the explorer offers users real-time insights into the network performance of the Shutter’s encrypted mempool on Gnosis Chain.
